night was another excellent race around Blackburn Town Centre. The support
race was won by Simon Yates and the elite race was won by Tony Gibb.

will see the start of the Blackburn Grand Prix where Ian Wilkinson will
be hoping to give a repeat performance of the Colne Grand Prix. Demonstrations
will start at 5.30pm and racing starting from 7.00pm. Riders

excellent days racing took part today at the new MTB Track in Lee Quarry,
Bacup as over 80 Competitors took part in various categories including
round 3 of the British Trials.

about the new track were very positive.

Under and Over the Mersey event was a great success with around 15000
people taking part. The walk through the Queensway tunnel in liverpool
started with a vintage vehicle parade before the first walkers entered
the tunnel at 11:00am led by Phil Redmond (Ambassador for Liverpool
Capital of Culture) and Councellor Mark Dowd.
